Each Christmas, Bronnley releases a gifting range that is sold throughout Europe. To attract the international audience, the range must play on the brand’s British heritage and enviable royal warrant, though in a way that doesn’t alienate European shoppers.
Our research showed that beauty products in European chemists and beauty aisles are often very stark, white and medical, whilst at Christmas reds and greens abound. We knew that something a little different could really cut through.
We landed on an art deco aesthetic that played to London’s glittering 1930s heyday. It was glamorous enough to push Bronnley’s heritage, making use of an illustration from its original adverts, while remaining playful and relatable. We also branded the range in black and gold, to differentiate and disrupt across shelf space.
