Cherry is one of London’s most innovative copywriting teams. Yet the brand hadn’t refreshed since the nineties and they were relying on word of mouth for work. It was time for a new identify to help attract new business.
Cherry needed a brand that showed how creative and exciting they really are. It also had to promote that they were writers and get around the problem of how to promote words in an increasingly image-based online world.
The brand mark is a set of quotation marks that puts punctuation and writing-as-craft at the heart of Cherry. A strong typographic signature gave the team a way to promote their words on Instagram, while bold colours and mixed layers reflected their innovative personalities. We redesigned the website, updated creds and gave them an unmistakable signature across tote bags, coasters and a portfolio book.
